 NEW: The “I Can 26.2 It!” youth running program registration is open. Info and registration is at

This program is designed for youth ages 6-12 and is a combination of running on their own and group opportunities. Each child receives an official "I Can 26.2 It! t-shirt (with a special new motivational design this year), a weekly mileage chart and weekly motivational e-mails. Read about the program in our new brochure.

 NEW: Come to the Lakeshore Chinooks vs Wisconsin Rapids Rafters game on June 25th at 6:35 p.m. (Limit of 75 people). Join the Striders for an exclusive inclusive fun night at the minor league ball game.  We have the Leinenkugel's Dock Fan Deck reserved exclusively for our group.   Your ticket is inclusive of all you care to eat through the 6th inning at the low, low price of $25 per person!.  (see more)

Sign up for the Strider half marathon in August. 

  • Strider Half Marathon starting at Estabrook Park on Aug 27th at 8 a.m.  A mostly shaded 13.1 mile course that ends at a German Beer Garden!  Stick around for a few hours after the race wearing your new tech shirt and finisher's medal for a great breakfast and German beer at the Estabrook Beer Garden!  All for only $26 ($37 non-members).  Limit of 1000 runners. Sign up by Aug. 22nd.

Register for the 36th Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon, which will be held on Oct. 2, 2016.

Lakefront Marathon finisher jackets and other marathon merchandise is available for purchase.

Featured Event

There is a Badgerland Strider Open Track meet on Tuesday (June 21st) at St. Francis High track at 6:30 p.m. The location is the northwest corner of E. Lunham Avenue & S. Lake Drive. There will be all track events 100m-3200m, race walk, relays. There will be no field events or hurdles. All events are held on a 400m track. There are restrooms.

The Dunne Fun Run is on Wednesday (June 22nd) at 6:30 p.m. at Holy Hill in Washington County.  Take Hwy 45 to Holy Hill Rd exit (Hwy 167). Follow that for 7.5 miles. Turn left on Stationway Rd, 0.2 miles to start. Meet at the Lower level of the 1st station of the cross. (GPS Coords: 43.248034,-88.325695)  You can run 3 miles or 6 miles and then have some food and refreshments. Click here for a link to the fun run map.

There are track speed workouts every Tuesday night at Hart Park! Be warmed up and ready at 6:30 p.m.  Meet at the track at Hart Park, located at 7300 W Chestnut St, Wauwatosa, WI 53213.

Race Day at Hales Corners Park - Pre-registered tent from 6:45 am - 7:45 am

2 water stops on the course, t-shirt, free pool access, fruit, soda, water, and beer provided at the finish. Not to mention a great four mile run with friends on our nation's birthday!

4 mile: Plaques for overall male and female. Medals for 1st, 2nd, 3rd in each age group M/F:
9 and under, 10-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49;
50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; 80-84; 85 and over.
