Hello Striders and friends:

The Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon reached its 3100 runner limit on 4/15/2012!

Check the calendar for running events in your area. Sign up now for the Superun. There is a club meeting on Wednesday (May 16th) at the Petit National Ice center. Social time from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Ashley Kumlien, who ran across America for MS, will be the speaker.

Consider being in the club championships this year. Dennis Shoemaker is our new club championship director. He has posted 2012 results for races already held. Check out the Club Championships web page. Respond to his request for suggestions on how to improve this program on the Graffiti Board.

Featured Event

There will be three track meets this summer. They will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, May 22nd, June 19th and July 31st at the St. Francis High School track located at 4225 S Lake Dr, across the street from the bike trail and Lake Michigan.

Fun runs will be held most Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m. For the full schedule of fun runs, click here.

Location: Lake Park Pavilion, 3133 E Newberry Blvd, Milwaukee, WI

Pre-registration: $15/Seniors, $20/Striders, $25/non-members (online thru June 20th)
Race Day: $30/everyone (Registration: 5-6:30 p.m.)
