NEW - Looking for a bib number so you can track a runner??

All your need is the runner's name. Please note that runner tracking information will not be uploaded until Thursday when online registration closes.  When you go to the websites below you will be able to view the websites but you will not be able to search for participants until Thursday!!! Online registration for the Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon is closed. Registration will be available at the expo on Saturday, October 1, at the Absolute Race Timing booth. Registration at the expo will be $120. The marathon will be held on Oct. 2nd at 7:30 a.m.. The expo and packet pickup are on Saturday, Oct. 1st, from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the Italian Community Center. (631 E Chicago, Milwaukee)


Introducing the first annual Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon 5K run/walk on Oct. 2 at 8:30 a.m.

It will start in front of the Milwaukee Art Museum. Take a run out and along the gorgeous Lakeshore Park island, head into Veterans Park where you will take a loop around the lagoon and listen to the cheering crowds as you finish through the same chute as the MLFM runners will do minutes after you are done. Sign up now!

The first 25 miles of the “I Can 26.2 It!” youth running program is finished.

The last 1.2 miles will be run this Sunday, Oct. 2nd. at Veteran's Park.

This program is designed for youth ages 6-12 and is a combination of running on their own and group opportunities. Each child receives an official "I Can 26.2 It! t-shirt (with a special new motivational design this year), a weekly mileage chart and weekly motivational e-mails. The Amber Bock Fun Run is on Wednesday (Sept 28th) at 6:00 p.m. at Whitnall Park  #8.  It is located at 5879 S 92 St, Franklin, WI 53132. You can run 3 miles or 6 miles and then have some food and refreshments. Click here for a link to the fun run.

2016 Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon

Date: Sunday, October 2, 2016 at 7:30 a.m.

Online registration will remain open until capacity is reached or the Wednesday before the race (September 28, 2016). Registration will be available Saturday, October 1 at the Absolute Race Timing booth.  Registration at the expo will be $120. Click here to register online.

Address: Starts at Grafton High School at 7:30 a.m. (1950 Washington St, Grafton, WI) - Finishes on Milwaukee's Lakefront at Veteran's Park, 1010 N Lincoln Memorial Dr, Milwaukee, WI 53202.

Time Limits: The race starts at 7:30 a.m. The race course will close at 2:00 p.m., or 6.5 hours after the race start. No early starts are allowed. No times will be recorded and no medals will be given after 6.5 hours.

Expo and Packet Pickup: The expo will be held at the Italian Community Center, which is located at 631 E Chicago St, Milwaukee, WI 53202. Expo hours are from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1.  We will have 30 or more booths - including national vendors.  All marathon participants MUST pick up their packets at the expo. Bring a photo ID. You can have someone else pick up your packet. The person that you authorize to pick up your packet must bring a copy of your ID and their own ID.

Starting Area: The Grafton High School facilities will be open at 6:00 a.m. to runners and their guests prior to the start. Additional toilet facilities and an aid station will also be provided. Note: The starting time is 7:30 a.m.!

Transportation to the Start:
Runners can park at the Italian Community Center, 631 E Chicago St, Milwaukee, WI 53202. Continuous bus service from the ICC to the starting line will be available to all runners from 5:15 a.m. to 6:15 a.m. There is no charge for this transportation. If driving to the start yourself, please allow adequate time as congestion near Grafton High School can be expected. Participants are urged to park at the ICC and take the bus to the start. We cannot provide transportation back to the start area after the race for marathon participants.

Runners can catch a bus to the start from one of the race hotels (the Hyatt at 333 W Kilbourn Ave or the Courtyard by Marriot at 300 W Michigan) at 6 a.m. sharp. You do not need to reserve a spot and you do not need to be a guest at the hotel to take this bus, but you do need to be on time.

Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon Awards Ceremony will be at 12:15 pm on Sunday, October 2. For those who are unable to stay for the Awards Ceremony, please send a check or money order for $7.50 with name, mailing address, gender, age group to Judy Springer, 2701 North 68th St, Milwaukee, WI 53210.  All award requests are due by Friday, October 28, 2016.  Awards will be mailed after due date.
