Goal
We will utilize various stretches, strengthening exercises, and effort based speed training utilizing a heart rate monitor (some available) to improve your times at either 5K, 20K, or marathon. You decide if you want to peak for the Tosafest 5K, Badgerland Striders 20K, or Lakefront Marathon.

Place
We meet on the southwest end of the track in Wauwatosa’s Hart Park, just south of State Street, just west of 72nd & Chestnut.

Dates/Times
Wednesday mornings - Starting June 15th - 6:00 to 6:50 a.m.
Program Duration Dates
5K 13 weeks June 15th to September 7th
20K 12 weeks June 15th to August 31st*
Marathon 16 weeks June 15th to September 28th
*Optional extension for Half-Marathons

Facilities
We will make ample use of the track as well as other areas nearby. Restrooms only open starting at 7 a.m. Free parking available. Showers available nearby for an additional fee (see below).

Typical Day
We start off with a 1.5 mile warm-up, followed by stretching, plyometric training, a hill, interval, or fartlek training session, and finally, a one-mile warm-down.

Program Fees
Limited to 15 - 20 participants in each program. $2 discount if previous Intermediate/Advanced participant.
